IMPRESSIONISM

Impressionism is a 19th-century French art movement that broke with academic tradition to focus on capturing fleeting moments, often painting in the open air to experience and capture shifting natural light, colour, atmosphere, and the ephemerality of nature. Moving the studio outside was a radical move in the 1860s and marked a shift from idealised studio painted scenes to artworks that captured spontaneous, modern life that focussed on individual expression and the artistic process.

Inspired by the beauty of natural forms, Focaccia Flower turns a simple bread into a delicate edible composition.
Soft focaccia is topped with edible leaves and floral elements, arranged to resemble a blooming flower.
Bringing together texture, colour and flavour, it offers a moment that is both visual and savoury.
