Four colorful liquids (green, red, purple, yellow) are being poured into glasses from tap handles against an abstract splash paint background.

EXPRESSIONISM

Abstract expressionist painting with splatters and drips of black, red, yellow, blue, and beige paint on a white background.
Abstract painting with swirling lines and shapes in shades of blue, brown, orange, and pink.

Expressionism was a prominent movement in Europe between 1910 and 1930 that prioritised the subjective, emotional experience over objective, realistic representation. Expressionist artists painted the feelings that the world evoked inside them. Often forms are distorted, and colour used independently from reality to convey unfiltered emotion. Abstract Expressionism is an evolution of this movement from New York in the 1940s-50s, abandoning recognisable imagery for spontaneous, gestural painting. Raw and energetic, the drips and splatters in the art often feels like it has an urgent message or idea it wants to share.

A direct line from soul to canvas…

“Painting is self-discovery. Every good artist paints what he is.”

Jackson Pollock (1912 - 1956)

Inspired by the expressive gestures of abstract expressionism, Drip Drinks transform liquid into a living artwork.
Vibrant colours flow through pipes, allowing guests to interact directly with the installation and pour their own creation.
Each flavour combines natural ingredients and bold colours, turning every sip into part of the artistic experience.
